When is the retreat?

What time does the retreat begin and end?

The weekend begins Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. and ends Sunday at 12:00 p.m.

What is included in the cost?

The cost includes three days and two nights lodging, a total of six hot meals, and materials for the weekend. We have 28 spots available.

What is the cost?

$310 single room (8 available)*

We do not want the cost to deter anyone from attending.  If you cannot afford the full price, please contact us. We may be able to provide some financial assistance.

When can I register and when is my payment due?

Register Early payment due by June 30th

Register between July 1st-September 6th payment due upon registration

Register on or after September 7th late fee due upon registration

Waiting list on or after October 7th

What happens if I cancel and what is the refund policy?

If you need to cancel, we’ll try to find someone to take your place. If we succeed, we’ll refund your money two weeks after the retreat ends. The amount you get back will depend on when you cancel and the retreat center’s costs and fees.

Before September 6th: Full Refund

September 7th – October 6th: non-refundable $40 plus retreat center’s costs and fees

October 7th – October 19th: non-refundable $80 plus retreat center’s costs and fees

After October 20th – No Refunds

What is the age requirement?

You must be 18 years old to attend.

What is my commitment?

Your commitment is to attend the entire weekend with an open heart and mind, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you on a spiritual journey while building fellowship with Catholic women.

What resources are available?

We are lay women seeking to share this journey with you to deepen and strengthen our Faith.

Please note that the team members as well as retreatants do not offer counseling or advice related to the following issues or matters: legal, mental, medical, family, financial advice, etc.

What goes on during the weekend?

Like Jesus said to two disciples who had an interest in following him: “Come and see.”  

Do you need to be Catholic to attend?

Absolutely not! All are welcome. We’d love to share our Catholic faith with you.

What if I need to be reached or my family needs me?

A message center will be in operation 24 hours a day during the weekend should someone have a need to reach you.

What should I bring?

Bring personal hygiene items, hairdryer, flashlight, medication, comfortable clothing/shoes for the weekend (enough for two days and nights) as well as clothes for mass on Sunday morning. Masks are optional (CDC guidelines will be followed).

Note: Check the weather for Colorado Springs when packing. Please be sure to bring weather appropriate clothing/shoes as we may be outside for certain activities and will walk between buildings for meals (approximately 100 yards).    

What not to bring?

Plan to concentrate on a Christ-filled weekend. This will require detachment from distractions such as cell phones and electronics this will help to enhance your experience of being on God’s time.

Do not bring alcohol or marijuana.  Although now legal in Colorado, is still prohibited under federal law and is not permitted on the Franciscan Retreat Center campus.

What if it snows?

The retreat center does not close due to weather.
